Jannel
is a songwriter's songwriter. Her latest album, ka-lai-do-schope,
was picked as one of the top CDs for 2005 by the Orange
County Register. Her
fourth album, Blue,
was also chosen by the Orange County Register as one of the top
three releases of
2001. She has performed with many national artists including Nickel
Creek, Loudon
Wainwright III, Sophie B. Hawkins, John Waite, Lowen
& Navarro and Susan Gibson.
Selected
as an honored Alumni from her high school, her picture now
sits next to Senator Robert Kerrey's. She has contributed her
songs to raise money for organizations like Loma Linda and Teammates
Mentoring.
She
has been the host of the Nationally Syndicated Radio Program, Live
From Studio C-Street and is currently producing a concert
series to benef it
missing persons with plan to create a national television series
based on the concerts.
Currently
over 80 radio stations across the country are playing Jannel's music.
ka
lai do schope, Jannel's current 2005 release is just out of the
box, ready for your ears and on select California radio stations. A
little pop/folk/country with a splash of 70's psychedelic/cop show in
the production here and there. The support talent on this project
cannot be measured with: Jeffrey Casey and Matt Bissonnette
producing, Jeff Belew on lead guitar, mandolin and steel
guitar, Joe Iaquinto on lead guitar and bass, Matt Bissonnette
on Bass, Yvonne Perea on acoustic guitar and vocals, Jeffrey
Casey on drums, Robert Parlee and Dana Kruse on
