Recorded
at legendary Cherokee Studios, this is Jannel’s most
agressive creative project. Co-Produced by Joe Robb (Steeley
Dan, LemonHeads, Even Dando), the remarkable songwriting of Jannel is
surrounded by a full band and tremendous guitar hooks. In stark
contrast the pedal steel of Marty Rifkin (Bruce Springsteen,
Tom Petty, Dwight Yoakum) and the melodic Viola of Daryl S,
create a deep sonic landscape. This album made the Grammy
ballot for Album Of The Year, Producer of the Year, and Best
Engineer. The single, Sea Of Red, was used
extensively thoughout the Midwest by Hall Of Fame Football coach Tom
Osborne in fundraisnig efforts for his Teammates Mentoring Program. |
